Design Handoff
Whether we designed your new website or your designs are already created in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD, we always start the development with a design handoff. In this phase, we go over aspects of the design that the design might not have been addressed, like animations, hover effects, and any other web-specific questions we might have, making the development process seamless.

Client-First Setup
Client-First is a set of guidelines and strategies that help us build Webflow websites in an easy-to-understand and scalable way. We start every project in Webflow by duplicating the Client-First V2 style guide, which includes enhancements to scroll speed and SEO. Though, Client-First only has set guidelines for class naming and is not a template. All sites we develop are coded from the ground up for each client.

Development
During the development phase of the project, we take your designs and transform them into a functional website in Webflow. Once we complete the first pass of the site, we will dial in the desktop and mobile versions of the website with help from your real-time feedback via MarkUp. Then, when all the pages are dialed in, we pass through it again, adding animation and special effects.

Optimization & On Page SEO
Once the site is developed in Webflow, we start tuning the pages for both SEO and load speed. We set metadata, compress images, ensure the heading structure is correct, check each section's tags, code valid schema data, and so much more. At the end of this phase, we aim to have 100% scores across the board on Google Lighthouse and Google Page Insights. We also run the site through independent speed and SEO tests before launching it.

Website Launch
It's finally time to launch your new site! Now, if your old site is already set up in Webflow, switching it to a new Webflow site is seamless and will not suffer any downtime. Though, if we are moving your site over from WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, or a different CMS platform, that will require a DNS change which can take up to 48 hours. We begin the transfer on Saturday evening for most of these site transfers to ensure the new site is live by Monday morning; however, most of the time, these transfers only take a few hours.
